upper grosvenor street
Chapter developed a concept-led interior proposal for Eaton House, a prestigious residential block in Mayfair, London, within the Grosvenor Estate.
Chapter reimagined this compact London apartment for an art collector through a highly considered programme of spatial reconfiguration, bespoke joinery, and interior architecture. Working within the constraints of the existing footprint, the design sought to maximise functionality while establishing a calm and cohesive living environment defined by clarity, craftsmanship, and material richness.
Drawing inspiration from modernist architectural precedents, the scheme centres around a series of carefully designed joinery volumes that organise the plan, conceal services, and define individual living spaces. These interventions create a clear distinction between public and private areas while maintaining a sense of openness and flow throughout the apartment.
The project encompassed a complete reorganisation of the layout, including a new kitchen, utility room, study, guest bedroom, and reconfigured principal suite. Bespoke joinery, material studies, and furniture planning were developed in parallel to ensure every element contributes to a unified design language.
The result is a highly tailored home where architecture and interiors are seamlessly integrated, transforming a constrained footprint into a bijoux, sophisticated and functional living environment defined by timeless design and meticulous attention to detail.
